Blackwater Weapons & Military Equipment

Created a diverse collection of game-ready military weapons and equipment for the shipped Xbox Kinect title Blackwater (2011). Assets included assault rifles, sniper rifles, pistols, aviation equipment, and large-scale military hardware designed for third-person gameplay presentation.

Responsibilities included modeling, UV layout, texture creation, normal map baking, and real-time optimization. Particular emphasis was placed on creating mechanically accurate hard-surface assets with clear material definition and strong silhouette readability while working within the performance constraints of Xbox 360-era hardware.

Notable assets included a detailed anti-aircraft emplacement featuring complex mechanical assemblies, articulated support structures, and layered material treatments. All assets were created prior to the widespread adoption of modern PBR workflows, with textures authored using Photoshop-based techniques and custom baking pipelines.

This project demonstrates commercial game development experience, hard-surface modeling expertise, and the ability to create visually compelling real-time assets under production constraints.
