Hotel Emergency Response Training Simulation

Hotel Emergency Response Training Simulation

Zombie Studios | Maya, Unreal Engine

Created the primary architectural environment for a large-scale hotel simulation used to train emergency response personnel in realistic firefighting and rescue scenarios. Based on extensive photographic reference, architectural documentation, and on-site research, the project recreated a functioning commercial hotel environment with a high degree of visual and structural accuracy.

Responsibilities included modeling the hotel's exterior, lobby spaces, corridors, stairwells, guest room architecture, emergency access routes, structural elements, lighting fixtures, railings, doors, and core building infrastructure. Particular attention was given to accurately representing operational systems such as sprinkler networks, standpipe connections, and emergency access points used by first responders during training exercises.

The environment was developed in Unreal Engine and designed to support realistic emergency scenarios, allowing trainees to navigate the building, locate critical systems, and respond to simulated incidents within a faithful recreation of the physical location. Additional team members contributed furnishings and surrounding city assets while the primary architectural structure and core environment development were created independently.
