Saw & Saw II – Interactive Traps and Gameplay Devices
Zombie Studios | Maya, Photoshop
Created a wide range of interactive traps, mechanical puzzle devices, and gameplay props for the multi-platform horror titles Saw and Saw II. Responsibilities included modeling, UV layout, texturing, rigging, and animation of assets used throughout the games' puzzle and trap systems.
Notable assets included the iconic Reverse Bear Trap, Venus Fly Trap, Shotgun Collar, Buzzsaw Trap, IV Trap, and multiple custom gameplay devices designed specifically for interactive puzzle sequences. Assets required mechanically believable construction, animated functionality, and clear gameplay readability while operating within Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 performance constraints.
This work demonstrates experience creating mechanically complex real-time assets, combining hard-surface modeling, animation, and gameplay-focused design for shipped commercial titles.
